Read:
John 16:12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.”
Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
Think:
Imagine that you start your own company. You know you have a lot to learn, but you don’t bother to ask your father, who is the CEO of a multimillion dollar company and a successful philanthropist, for wisdom and insight. You get busy making plans and you have some success, but when your company begins to struggle, you rely on your own knowledge even though you know your dad wants you to succeed and is more than willing to help.
In the same way, as believers, we have the opportunity to communicate with God through his Word, prayer, and the Holy Spirit. However, it's easy to allow distractions and pride to cause us to miss out on what God wants to say to us. We should remember that God desires to speak to us and reveal his love to us, providing guidance and comfort in our struggles.
Jeremiah 33:3 encourages us to call out to God, and he will answer, revealing things we don’t yet know. Furthermore, in John 16:12, Jesus tells us that he has much more to say to us than we can currently even handle! He’s just waiting for us to be ready to receive.

What is an area in your life that you have not taken time to talk and listen to God about? Today, open your heart and mind to his voice, and be willing to follow his guidance. He is working for your good and it brings him great pleasure to lead and bless you!
Pray:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the privilege of hearing from you. Help me to actively seek your voice, and to be open and willing to follow your guidance. Speak to me, Lord, and help me to listen and obey. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
