Today's Scripture is a popular one. But so often our world has a whacked out view of what love is. Many people look to Hollywood for a display of love. But a deeper look makes it clear that they have no idea what love really is. Others may look to the music industry to define love. But again, the definition there falls short. God's definition of love is the only definition that is true and meaningful. After all, He is the author of love. And His love for us in unconditional, unending, and undeniable! For any marriage (or any relationship) to thrive, we must look first to God's example so that we can live it out. It's not just enough to know what love is; we have to discover what love does. And when we love God's way, we will get God's results!

Act

Commit to looking to God for what true love is. Don't buy into the facade that Hollywood or culture tries to sell you. Remember: When God is the source of your love, He sets the winning course for your love!

Pray

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being a loving God. Thank You for extending Your love to me. Help me to take that love, understand that love, and live that love out to others in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
