Whether it is a single-parent family, nuclear family, or blended family; whether our family is functional or not, we are all born into a specific family unit. And while we don't get to choose our family of origin, it is through our family that we grow and mature, where we learn how to treat others, and where we often discover our purpose and potential. But our earthly family isn't the only one we can be part of. There's an even stronger family that we all have the chance to join. Because when we become followers of Christ and make the decision to trust Him with our eternity, we are born into the family of God. And it is that family that has the ability to change everything. Are you part of the family of God? Have you been adopted by our Heavenly Father? Remember, while you can't choose your earthly family, you can choose to become part of the family that will last forever!
