    Something in Common

    Think

Every person you will ever see is unique. None of us looks exactly the same, thinks the same, or behaves the same. But in spite of our differences, there is something that we all have in common. We all have dysfunction in our lives. And the dysfunction causes us all to miss out on maximizing our God-given potential. Uncovering our dysfunction is never easy or fun. But the reality is, uncovering our dysfunction is one of the biggest keys to experiencing God's function for us! When we are open and honest with ourselves, with God, and with others about those things in our lives that keep us held down, we experience a freedom that is unexplainable. What are you carrying right now? What is weighing you down in life? It may be an emotional hang-up, an addiction issue, or a relational shortfall. Whatever it is, do the work it takes to uncover that defect and hand it over to God. It's never easy; but it is always worth it!

    Act

When someone is sick, they go to the hospital for treatment. It's true physically; it's also true spiritually. That's where the local church comes in! Today, go to the "hospital" that God has designed to help you with your dysfunction. Join us at one of our many Fellowship Church locations (find the list of locations on our APP under "More"). And if you aren't near a campus, check out the "Live" section of our APP to join us online!

    Pray

Dear God, right now, I admit to You something that You already know. I'm dysfunctional! There are dysfunctions in my life that cause me to miss out on Your function for me. Help me to continue facing those issues head-on so I can turn them over to You! In Jesus' name, Amen.
