Ephesians 2:8-10, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."

    Think

"Grace has kicked the ‘DO' out of us!" Have you made new year's resolutions? When we make new year's resolutions we usually start out by looking at what our life has been like and deciding what we want to change, achieve, or become better at. What if this year, instead of a new year resolution, you focused on a new year revolution? The word revolution means a fundamental shift in power or a dramatic change in the way something works. What Jesus did on the cross was revolutionary – it dramatically changed the way the relationship between God and Man would work. Now, instead of offering sacrifices, we simply need to receive the grace that was secured when Christ became the ultimate sacrifice for us on the cross. Now we can let God's peace have power in our lives and stop trying to be good enough to ‘earn' grace. Grace is the unearned favor of God. It is a gift that is available to everyone – no work necessary! Decide today to accept the revolutionary gift of grace.

    Act

Because of the gift of grace, Christianity is spelled D-O-N-E. Keep this in mind while you make a list of things you are DONE doing – things you can stop worrying about, stop trying to accomplish, and give control over to the Lord.

    Pray

Father thank you for your grace! Thank you for sending your son to Earth as the ultimate sacrifice, so that I could have a relationship with you. Help me to accept your gift of grace daily, and to show grace to those around me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
