    Roll Call

    Read:

Hebrews 11:32-35 “And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection.”

    Think:

Faith serves as the vital bridge between our souls and God—the path through which we connect with him. It grants us the remarkable ability to enter into a profound fellowship with the Divine, allowing us to accomplish all things with the awareness that it is not solely our own effort, but God working within and alongside us. In faith, our hearts reach out to God, relying on him with unwavering trust. And in response, God enters into our lives, infusing us with his divine strength and power. Faith acts as the conduit through which we draw upon God's boundless resources, causing them to flow into our very beings and exponentially amplifying the outcome of our life's work, our purpose.

Faith manifests in various ways, yielding diverse results. In some, it summons forth heroic strength, capable of altering the course of a battle at its very gates. In others, it enables passive endurance during the long ordeal of pain. Faith possesses the ability to blunt the edge of the sword in one circumstance and to silence the fiercest of lions in another.

For all who place their trust in God, he testifies to their faithfulness. In times of need, God proves himself unfailingly present, responding to our appeals with resounding echoes of his grace and provision. God answers faith.

    Pray:

Jesus, I need you. I know you give power to the weak. I ask that you build my faith. I want to see your strength around my life and in my life. In Jesus' name. Amen.
