2 Timothy 4:5, "But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry." 

Think 

Without question, the best life lessons involve personal pain. Muscle is built in the gym by tearing tissue that leads to new growth. Financial responsibility results from the pain of miscalculation. The most inspiring music commonly comes from a place of personal pain. No pain, no gain.  

When we experience Jesus at work in our lives, we have the responsibility of sharing His story with others. It can be inconvenient and risky to step out of our comfort zone and talk about Him, but it's always worth it. 

This verse tells us to brave the sometimes awkward and messy moments so that we can tell others about Jesus. We get uncomfortable for Christ so that others can receive comfort from Christ. And it doesn't have to be a long conversation going through all the books in the Bible. A kind word at the right time, or simply visiting someone going through something difficult, may be all it takes. The temporary pain is always worth the gain of life-change in others. Let's keep reaching!
