Isaiah 40:31,
"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."

"Don't bail out before the breakthrough." Quitters never win – or at least never experience the best God has for them. When you want to quit, just wait. God is doing something that you only get to experience when you don't quit. We often think waiting is just a period of inactivity. But waiting while trusting in God is placing our faith in God's strength and power regardless of the circumstances. And God can do far more in our "waiting" than we could do on our own. In today's verse, we learn four things that happen when we wait while trusting in God:- We "find new strength," exchanging our weakness for God's strength.
- We "will soar high on wings like eagles." Waiting with God can cause us to rise above our circumstances and get a new perspective.
- We "will run and not grow weary." It builds our capacity to overcome what the future holds.
- We "will walk and not faint." Waiting builds our perseverance.
