    Membership Has Its Privileges

    Read

Romans 12:4-5, "For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."

    Think

If you have ever been desperately hungry and in need of nourishment, you can understand the overwhelming joy of sitting at a table and tasting delicious food that satisfies those intense hunger pangs. As you experience this amazing meal, you can't help but share that joy with others! Think about how many times someone you know has said, "You have to check out this restaurant I found!" It's all about inviting other hungry people to enjoy the experience at the table. This is a picture of what it means to be an active member of the church, the table where the Bread of Life is served. Those who experience the nourishment, relationships, and growth at THE table understand the importance of bringing others in to join the experience. They also know that each of us (each member) serves a specific, vital role. Each is important and helps to promote the growth around the table as we work together to create an environment where life change happens regularly. And as members, we have the honor of witnessing the life change and growth firsthand! You see, growth happens around the table when hungry people receive nourishment and experience the intimacy of relationships with others who have been fed the Bread of Life, Jesus Christ. Are you experiencing that growth?

    Act

Did you know that there are around 30 things found in the Bible that you cannot do if you aren't a member of the church? What are you waiting for? Get in on the growth and become a member of Fellowship Church! It's simple, and it starts by attending our Growth Track classes after each experience beginning Sunday, January 14.

    Pray

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, the Bread of Life who nourishes and satisfies our hungry souls. Help me to push away from the table and do my part in setting the table for others to experience this meal. Give me the awareness of others who are hungry so I can invite them to the table. In Jesus' name, Amen!
