    Maximum Security!

Proverbs 14:26, "In the fear of the Lord, there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge."

Proverbs 15:3, "The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good."

    Think

What kind of security makes you feel most protected? Locks and alarms? Gates and dogs? A doorbell camera? Or, perhaps it's merely another person's presence. Children are often afraid at bedtime - imagining monsters in their closet or the bogeyman under their bed. But the presence of a parent or sibling can immediately provide the sense of security they need to sleep.

If we live in fear of the Lord, we can "Face Everything with Assurance and Reverence." We can be confident that He is our place of REFUGE! Refuge means to be safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble. And how great, how unstoppable is the security God provides! It's incomparable to any protection here on Earth.

Proverbs 15:3 reminds us, "The eyes of the Lord are everywhere." He is our heavenly parent, always present whenever we feel alone or afraid. In fact, the Bible says, "Do not fear" 365 times. That's one for each day of the year!

The bottom line is this: God is all-powerful and everywhere at every time. There's nothing He doesn't know. Stand in awe of His strength; live righteously and you will have maximum security in your life!

    Act

When you think about the fact that God sees everything, does this give you peace, or do you immediately think of something in your life that you'd rather NOT be in His view? Acknowledge that He knows about it and choose to turn from it. Then allow God's peace to fill you - He sees you and will provide a place of shelter, whatever the circumstance!

    Pray

Lord, my life is Yours. I acknowledge that there is nothing about my current situation that You can't see. You are my security, my strength, my ROCK. I rest in You today, Lord. Amen.
