"Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil. So do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." Ephesians 5:15-17
Think
With the New Year come new hopes, new desires, new resolutions. But so often, those resolutions become distant memories as the year goes on because they are focused on temporary changes. That kind of temporary change is not what God wants us to experience. He knows that the only we will experience the most out of life is by experiencing long term, eternal change. And we do that by making ourselves available to be used by Him. No matter where you are or what you are experiencing right now, God loves you and wants to use you for great things. There are steps you can take in your life to move beyond the temporary change so many experience this time of year and instead make yourself available to be used by God.
Act
Look for ways to be used by God. And each day, remind yourself of the truth that: God doesn't look at the outward appearance as much as He looks at your inward availability!
Pray
Thank You, God, for loving me right where I am. I ask You to show me the opportunities You have to make a lasting difference in the lives of others. Use me, God, as You see fit. In Jesus' name, Amen.
