    For Good

    Read

Genesis 28:15, "I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."

    Think

"God doesn't cause bad things, but he uses them for good." In our verse today, the Bible tells us that God is omnipresent – he's present everywhere. He's with us all of the time and has our back! He guides us down the road he's mapped out for our lives and, if we get lost, his direction will get us back on course! Imagine you're on a road trip to a place you've never been and Siri is your only guide. She gives clear directions, but you mess up and turn right instead of left. Your road trip doesn't have to end there! Your GPS just reroutes you so you can reach your destination. This is similar to how God guides us. He doesn't cause bad things to happen in our lives. But when they do, God guides us through the rough terrain to get us back on track. Whatever you are facing – consequences of a poor decision, a tough trial or circumstance – remember that God meets you at your point of need. He is right there with you! God has a plan and purpose for your life and just like the end of today's verse, he will not leave you until he has done what he has promised!

    Act

Do you know someone going through a tough time? Reach out and encourage them with this word today. Show them the light at the end of the tunnel and remind them that God is with them on their journey – even through the rough times!

    Pray

Dear God, Thank you for your faithfulness and sovereignty in guiding me down the path of my life. Please continue to remind me that you have a plan and purpose for me. I trust you no matter what is on the road ahead. In Jesus' name, Amen.
