    Faith It

    Read

Hebrews 11:7, “By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”

2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we walk by faith not by sight.”

    Think

Imagine wearing a blindfold and drawing a picture as you’re given instructions by someone else. That’s probably how Noah felt building the ark! He didn’t even know what rain was, yet for 120 years, he was faithful in completing the project that God gave him. That is what unstoppable faith looks like! It’s navigating the unknown and being committed to the results, even if we can’t see them. Imagine if Noah had quit his boat project. What a devastating outcome that would have been!

Commitment is key to living out faith. There will be times when we will feel weak, and walking in faith will feel like groping through darkness. But, when we commit and don’t quit, our faith grows stronger with each step. Commitment to faith can change the trajectory of our lives, our families, and our future. We don’t know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future, and He will light each step for us. Let your faith grow, and commit – don’t quit!

    Act

It’s time to commit. It takes 21 days to create a habit. Commit to building your faith muscles by setting aside time to pray and read your Bible for the next 21 days and beyond. Ask God to open your heart and mind to His Word, and anticipate that He will speak into your life. Then take the steps He directs!

    Pray

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me. Although, at times, my faith is weak, I want to follow Your instructions for my life. Help me to have the courage and commitment to walk by faith in obedience to You. I know what You have for me is far better than I can imagine. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
