    Read

“After that, we who are still alive will be gathered up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And we will be with the Lord forever.” 1 Thessalonians 4:17

    Think

The Book of Revelation, as we have seen, is one of the most fascinating books in the Bible. The message, the imagery, the language – all of it points to our amazing God and His amazing plan for what is to come. But how should that message impact our lives today? Do the words in Revelation really influence us on a daily basis?

Elsewhere in the Bible, we read that ALL of Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for our lives. That means everything in the Bible can impact and influence us somehow. As we read Revelation, it should give us a greater sense of urgency. We know time is limited, so it should encourage us to tell as many people as we can about the amazing God we serve. Are you doing that? Are you motivated to share the good news of Jesus with those around you? If not, ask God to give you His perspective and fill your heart with His passion. And watch for the opportunities He puts in your path!

    Act

Who in your life needs to know about the God you serve? What are you doing to tell them? Are you hoping that they’ll figure it out “someday?” Make THAT day, THIS day!

    Pray

God, thank you for loving us enough to give us the Book of Revelation (along with the rest of Scripture). Thank You for communicating Your plan and purpose with us in a tangible, powerful way. Amen.
