    "Excuse me, your manners are showing!" This week, we have talked about the wonder of words and the way of words. Today, we are going to talk about the wisdom of words. There are "Power Phrases" that will change your life! Now, before you read ahead, you may recognize some of them. Don't gloss over these phrases. Really think about them and how you use or don't use them. "Please." A polite request, not a brush off. "Thank you!" Shows gratitude to God and to those around you. "I'm proud of you!" Talk about a life-giving phrase! "I'm sorry." Not, "I'm sorry if ... " but, "I'm sorry for..." "Help me understand where you're coming from." Works wonders in the beginning stages of conflict. These phrases are game-changers. How can you start using them this week?

    Write down each one of these phrases and grade yourself (A, B, C, etc). Which ones need work? Start incorporating those phrases today!

    God, thank you for your gift of words. Help me to show honor to you and everyone whose path I cross today. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!
