    Transformation Business

    Read

Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will." Isaiah 64:8, "Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand."

    Think

Every day we see the rampant effects of Quarantine 2020. As a world, we're fighting the same, unseen enemy of this health crisis. We're facing financial challenges. We're adapting to school at home. We visit friends and family through Zoom. We smile behind masks as we wave instead of embracing. We've all inevitably had to conform to the current state of the world. We all must adapt to a new normal. But in the process of adjusting to these to newly-instituted norms, we know God's still in control. He's at work in our lives. He's in the TRANSFORMATION business. He wants to disrupt patterns of this world and renew our minds. Therefore, we must ask Him to examine our hearts and lay bare any rebellion or character issues that get in the way. Let God transform the broken aspects of your relationship with Him. Allow Him to strip away the barriers of self-reliance and pride that keep you from trusting in Him fully. As you do, like a master potter works clay, He'll mold your life into an influential work of art. So, don't waste this crisis. Draw close to God and let Him transform you into the "you" that He created you to be!

    Act

Using some playdough or clay, transform the blob into something - a flower, a bird's nest, or the ever-popular "snake." As you do, consider how the Master Potter is transforming you through your circumstances.

    Pray

Heavenly Father, I know that You're working to transform me into the person You created me to be. Please help me to embrace that transformation. I know that if I do, You will open my eyes and heart to live out Your best. I thank You in advance. In Jesus' name, Amen!
