Matthew 28:5-6, "The angel spoke to the women. ‘You must not be afraid,' he said. ‘I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has been raised, just as he said. Come here and see the place where he was lying.'"

Think

You can't keep a good man down! Of all 365 days in the year, today is the greatest day of celebration! This is the day Jesus conquered death and rose from the grave. He was on the ultimate roller coaster ride - from buried in a tomb to risen again on Resurrection Sunday! Jesus is the greatest person to ever live.  The entire Bible centers around him and the greatest act of love the world has ever witnessed. His compassion drove him to give the ultimate sacrifice of his life on our behalf. This Easter, FC Creative sang a song containing the powerful lyrics: "If he walked out of the grave, I'm walking, too!" If we truly believe in him, we can conquer anything that wants to bury us and keep us from living a victorious life. Because Jesus lives, we can really live, too! He willingly hopped on board the relentless roller coaster ride that plummeted him to the depths of hell, but in three days he came roaring back to life so we could, too!

Act

On this greatest of all days, take a moment, with your family or on your own, to reflect on Jesus' sacrifice. Celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead to forgive your sins and to offer eternal life to all who will believe! What a gift! What a day! What a Savior!

Jesus, we never want to take this precious gift for granted. Thank you for your love, your sacrifice, your willingness to give up everything for me. Amen.
