John 6:35, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry."
Think
The church is the table where people come to get fed. We've heard that and read that and focused on that reality over the past week. But have you ever considered the meal that is served at the table? It's not just another creative cuisine cooked by a world-class chef. The meal that we experience at the table is the ultimate carbohydrate, the cosmic carbohydrate, the Bread of Life-Jesus Christ. When we come to the table and taste the Bread of Life, we discover the only meal that can literally transform every area of our life and our eternity. It is this meal that gives us the ability to make the most out of every day. It is the very thing that gives us the ability to push away from the table and to be who God wants us to be. It is this meal that gives us the fuel to leave a lasting impact on the world around us. When you think about the table metaphor, remember that it is centered on the ultimate meal. Make sure you not only learn about that meal, but that you take part in it. Allow the ultimate carbohydrate to infiltrate your life and transform you from the inside out!

Pray
Thank you, God, for providing the world with the ultimate meal. Help me to tap into the cosmic carbohydrate-your Son, Jesus Christ-so that I can become who You created me to be, and can help others discover the ultimate meal in their lives as well. In Jesus' name, Amen.
