Ephesians 2:8-9, "For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith - and this is a not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast."
Think
Do you remember taking tests in high school? Exam day would come and the students who studied were prepared, those who didn't were praying hard that the teacher would grade this one on a curve.
So many people in today's world are hoping God will be like that high school teacher and grade the cosmic exam of life on a curve. In short, they hope they can earn their way to God, thinking, "If I can just do enough good, hopefully, God will let me into heaven when I die."
The reality is that good isn't good enough, but God is God enough!
God doesn't grade on a curve because He's given us the answer key to the test! He has made the path to Him simple. It comes down to each of us putting faith in the work He has already done.
Don't try to make it complicated. Simply trust that when Jesus died for you, it was enough to secure your eternity and clear you from carrying any guilt. So, let it go and live guilt-free. He will give you all that you need to make the most of this one and only life!
Act
Today, simply rest in the fact that you'll never be good enough, but God is God enough to help you overcome any past sin - including the regrets or guilt you may be harboring in your heart. And, remember, Jesus passed the ultimate exam on the cross and rose again to secure victory in your life!
