    Story Time

Mark 10:27, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."

    Think

"Let me tell you a God story!" Everybody loves a good story, especially a God story. As human beings, we are captivated by stories where the unseen realm of God is seen tangibly in the affairs of everyday life. As we listen to the storyteller, our faith in God is emboldened. We start to believe that maybe all things are possible with God. Storytellers inspire us with their first-hand accounts of God's handiwork. What could be better? You can stop being the listener and start being the storyteller yourself! One of the quickest ways to have a story to tell is to act on Jesus' command "give and it will be given to you." What could be simpler? Give and your gift will return to you in full. God stories are good, but there is a catch. The listener hears the story and wonders what might be. The storyteller lives the story and knows what is. Who do you want to be? Take God at his word and act accordingly. In no time you will be that one that says, "Let me tell you a God story."

    Act

This coming Sunday, bring an offering that is above your normal giving to Fellowship Church. Then take a moment to record your act of generosity. When God responds, record the second half of your God story so that you can always go back and remember God's faithfulness.

    Pray

Heavenly Father, I choose to believe that all things are possible with you. You say give and it will be given. I believe and will give. I look forward to my God story. Thank you for all you do. Amen.
