Galatians 6:5, "Each of you should take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life."

    Think

Today's powerful verse challenges us to take responsibility for how creative we are in life. Are you creating with excellence or are you giving out leftovers when it comes to creativity? Creativity is hard work and many times it's a "behind the scenes" labor. So often, the work that it takes to produce a new idea goes unnoticed and is concealed in anonymity. Don't let that keep you from still giving everything you've got to a project. God gave everything he had, so out of gratitude, we should give the same back to him. Too many people don't want to put the effort in that it takes, so they let mediocrity win the day - in school, in the workplace and at home. We are called to give our best, be our best and create our best so that others will see the dedication we have to the Creator of creativity. Scripture reminds us that whatever our hands find to do, give it everything we've got. Pledge to give your best to everything that comes your way and let your response to responsibility be an example to others.

    Act

Determine in your heart that every bit of work you have on your plate today will get your best effort. If you do, you will actually be mentoring others to follow suit and do the same.

    Pray

God, you gave your all to me, so I will give my all to every endeavor that comes my way. You have inspired me to take responsibility to the next level in my life and I pray that everything I do will honor you and inspire others to do the same. In Jesus' name, Amen.
