Proverbs 18:10, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe."

We've all heard the phrase, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!" If you are a human being, you will experience trouble. So how do you flip those troubles, that inevitably come your way, into a positive? Today's verse instructs us on the exact thing we need to do. We need to RUN TO GOD! When we are facing challenges, we need to learn from the prophet Jonah and do the exact opposite of what he did. He RAN FROM GOD and that actually got him into more hot water. That's because you can never outrun God. In desperate times, God wants us to run to him. When we run to God, we know that he is like a strong tower. We can find shelter, knowing that there we will be safe! Jesus is called our Loving Savior because loves us and makes himself available 24/7. We can run to him and know that we are safe and secure from all harm. Life will hand you lemons, so let the Lord turn it into lemonade.
