    Left or Right?

    Read

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12, " May He give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him."

    Think

"Say ‘yes' to the things God says ‘yes' to and ‘no' to the things God says ‘no' to.  What do you think causes the majority of stress in your life? Think about this: What do you deal with day after day that comes at you from countless directions? The thing you're never 100% sure about? The answer: Decisions. Should I say yes? Should I say no? Should I take this opportunity? Should I make this change? Wouldn't you love some simplicity in your complex, decision-making life? God offers us a simple solution: put your "yes" on what he says "yes" to and your "no" on what he says "no" to. The Bible is his love letter to you, and just like a loving parent, he has given you instruction on every topic from relationships to work to friendships to money to help simplify your life. There is no doubt it can be difficult to do because it can mean doing something unpopular, or something you don't fully understand. But, it also means putting your trust in the everlasting, all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving Heavenly Father who has an amazing purpose for your life!

    Act

Identify one to three decisions you're unclear on right now. Take time today to look those subjects up in the Bible and ask someone in your life who really seems to be putting their "yes" on God's "yes" and "no" on God's "no" for advice.

    Pray

God, I pray for your wisdom and discernment to make the best decisions today. Protect me, guide me, and give me the courage to do what is right when I am lacking confidence. Help me to remember that you are with me and have the best for my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
