    Don't Quit!

    Read

Revelation 14:12, "This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus."

    Think

" Crash through the quitting points!"   There are moments when we all get tired of fighting. Tired of fighting an illness, tired of fighting for our marriage, tired of fighting for a better life. So, what can keep us going when we want to quit? It's remembering WHY we are fighting and WHAT we are fighting for. The Bible tells us we are in a spiritual battle and quitting is not an option. This life will continue to throw difficult things our way, but we need to remember that when tough times come, God is present with us and wants to use these difficulties to someday bring glory to us and to him. So, how do we keep fighting? By spending time in God's word and being obedient to what it says, and by striving to keep him in the center of every thought and action we take.

Most people quit fighting just before the breakthrough. Remain steadfast. Hold on. Don't lose hope. Know that God is right there with you and that often life's difficulties are leveraged by Satan to get you to quit following Jesus. Remember, the Bible promises that God will take difficulties or the temptations that are thrown at us and, through Christ's power, he will make us stronger and turn it all into something glorious one day.

    Act

What difficult things are you going through right now? Take a moment to jot them down and then write alongside each of them, "Keep on fighting. God promises to turn this into something glorious one day."

    Pray

Heavenly Father, I get tired sometimes, but you are the strong one living in me. I will not give up. I will not walk away from you. I will remain faithful to Jesus and I will trust that you have a plan to take this difficulty and bring about a glorious result. Thank you for your strength. Amen.
