Think

"Show me your friends and I'll show you your future." Have you ever been guilty by association? Have you ever hung out with someone who had a bad rep and people started assuming you were the same way? The fact is that no matter how hard you try, spending the majority of your time with the wrong crowd will eventually change the way you think and act. Finding the right THEY for your life is such an important step in your walk with Jesus. Surround yourself with people who are:

• Tough and Tender
• Honest
• Encouraging and Exciting
• Yielded to God

These people will speak light into your life and will always help you, not hinder you, in your walk with God. How do you find the right THEY? A great place to start is by consistently making church a priority. Find someone more experienced than you in their relationship with Christ and ask them questions about how to strengthen your faith in God. Be a friend to someone else who is looking to make the same changes you are and be the right THEY for them. Searching for the right THEY is not always the easiest journey but it is definitely the most healthy!

God, please show me the right THEY as I go through my week and show me people in my life I need to distance myself from as well. Give me the wisdom to build the right relationships. In Jesus' name, Amen.
