Psalm 139:23-24, "Search me, God, and know my heart..."

    Think

Have you ever held a picture so close to your face that you can't make out what it really is? But then, as you move it away from your eyes, you're able to see the entire thing. Suddenly, it becomes crystal clear. This is what can happen in our own lives. We all want to know, deep down, who we truly are. But too often, we are so hyper-focused on ourselves that we miss the bigger picture of who God has created us to be. We need to start looking at the right things. Every day, God wants us to be able to see who He has created us to be. It starts with a willingness for us to back up and see the bigger picture. And it includes an intentional and tenacious pursuit of who God is. Because when we look first to God, then we find ourselves in a position to see with clarity who He has created us to be.

    Act

Begin each morning by looking first to God. How? Rather than opening Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat when you grab your phone, consider starting your day by opening your Bible. And begin your day with clarity!

    Pray

Dear God, as I begin this day, I ask that you help me sharpen my focus on You so that I don't miss anything You have for my life. Help me to understand, with clarity, who You have created me to be.
