John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Think

The very essence of God is generosity. "For God so loved the world that he gave ...." Giving is what our Heavenly Father is all about. He delights in giving us good things because that is His nature. Generosity is who He is. God is a giver, not a taker. Unfortunately, generosity is not inherent with humanity. We are all natural born takers. Our fallen nature is bent toward what we can get for ourselves rather than what I can give. But when we receive Christ, we receive His nature, the nature of God. And everything changes! In Christ, we are now wired to give generously. The 90 Day Challenge is a perfect opportunity to begin tapping into this new nature we have received from God. Now is the time to be who we truly are, so give and give generously!

Act

There are many ways to give. We can give with our words, our actions, our finances and our possessions. Be quick today to compliment with your words, to be kind with your actions, to be generous with your finances, and to bless with your possessions. Give and give generously!

Pray

Thank You, God, for the gift of eternal life found in Christ! I ask you to open my eyes to live in my new nature, a nature of generosity, and to make the most of opportunities to give. I can only do this through Your grace. So thank I thank You for it! In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
