    Read

Exodus 3:10-12 "So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt." But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?" And God said, "I will be with you..."

    Think

Everybody wants a life of significance. Nobody wants to get to the end of their life and realize they did nothing important. Yet, as much as we want to do something great, we can let fear and excuses cost us the opportunities we are given. Moses was given an incredible opportunity and his response to God was, "Who am I?" Later Moses told God he didn't know how to answer the people and that he was slow of speech. Moses had a lot of fear and excuses – but so do we. God gives us opportunities to help someone in need, but we respond, "I am too busy." God gives us the opportunity to say something kind, but we respond, "I don't even know them." God gives us the opportunity share what Jesus has done in our lives, but we respond, "What about my past?" In any situation where God gives you an opportunity, remember that the answer to all of these responses is what God told Moses, "I will be with you."

    Act

If God gives you an opportunity today, remember that He will be with you. Then act!

    Pray

My Father in Heaven, thank You for giving me the opportunity to do great things. Please overcome my fear and excuses with a belief that You are with me. In Christ's name I pray, Amen.
