    Community and Connection

    Read

Romans 10:14, "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"

    Think

In the hectic pace of our world, especially during the holiday season, so many of us are hyper-focused on one thing-ourselves. We run here and there, never really paying attention to the many people who are also running here and there. We're constantly surrounded by others; yet, too often, we don't take time to connect with them. It's ironic, though, because God never intended for us to do life alone. He created us for community. At Fellowship Church, we are all about community. We know the power that can come when we surround ourselves with people who are intentional about following God. But, we also know that we are here to make a difference in the world. That difference is realized when we connect with others and help them discover their God-given purpose, too. As we prepare to celebrate Christmas, we have an opportunity to connect with so many people around us. But it's going to take intentionality. So today, as you are running errands or preparing for the weekend, take a moment to look up and see the people around you in a different light. See them the way God sees them, as people who are loved and who have a purpose. And invite them to join you in celebrating the greatest life-changing event in history with us at Fellowship Church-the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ!

    Act

Fellowship isn't just who we are, it's what we do! So right now, reach out to someone you know who is seeking connection and invite them to join you at one of our many Christmas Candlelight Experiences at Fellowship Church. (For times and locations, visit FellowshipChurch.com)

    Pray

Dear Lord, I know that You have created me with the purpose of making a difference in the lives of people around me. Right now, I pray for the opportunity to cross paths with someone who needs You. Give me the words to say to them so they can experience Your love in their life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
