Read:
John 14:20, “On that day you will realize that I am in my father, you are in me, and I am in you.”
Colossians 1:27, “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Think:
What do you think it must have felt like for Mary to carry God in her womb, to feel Him move?Actually, what He did with Mary — God offers to us! He tells us, “If you want me, I will move in!” Throughout Scripture you will find the preposition in that will leave no doubt — Jesus lives in His children. Jesus said to His apostles, in John 14, “I am in you.” Paul, in Ephesians 3:17, said “that Christ may dwell inyour hearts through faith.” And the most precious invitation from Christ we find is in Revelation 3:20, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”
Jesus grew in Mary until He had to come out, and the same will happen to us. He will come out in our actions, our speech, our decisions. Every day will be like Bethlehem; you will deliver Jesus into the world. God in us, the Hope of the world.
Act:
Today spread Jesus — speak about Him, act like Him. Do one thing that will show someone that Jesus lives in you.
Pray:
Jesus, help me show the world that You live in me. May I act differently because I host the Living God inside of me. May Your love speak through me. Fill me with Your grace. Amen.
