Think

Every weekend we are given the opportunity to take a seat at the table (the local church) where the Bread of Life is being served. When we choose to dine on this bread and become a Christ-follower, we discover the fuel that helps us grow into spiritual maturity. And ultimately, we discover God’s purpose for our lives, which is to help build His kingdom.

Every weekend, people from all walks of life are drawn to the table by the sweet aroma of the Bread of Life. That aroma is produced in several ways. It could be seeing the difference in another person’s life, being invited by a friend, or experiencing hospitality and creativity when they arrive. Whatever it is that draws people, it is ultimately because of someone doing what God has called them to do.

As we mature in our faith, we discover that we now have the privilege and responsibility to help others experience what we have. We know that we must push away from the table and DO what Christ has called us to do—which is to SHARE our faith, SERVE others, and SOW into the life of the local church. Remember, God has called each of us to do what only we can do so that He can do what only He can do. He has equipped each of us with gifts and talents to help build His kingdom. So let’s push away from the table and do our part to serve others together!

Act

At Fellowship Church, we make sharing, serving, and sowing easy! Simply go to www.FellowshipChurch.com and look at the menu at the top of the screen. Pray

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the gifts and talents You have given me.  Help me to remember that those gifts are to be used to build Your kingdom. Open my heart and eyes to the opportunities to push away from the table and do what You have called me to do. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
