“Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.’” Revelation 4:8
Jesus is the central figure, the main focus, the primary character throughout the Bible, and all Scripture points to Him. The Bible has one villain, Satan; it has one hero; Jesus, and one message, Jesus saves.
Jesus deserves our praise – for who was, who is, and who is still to come! There’s no beginning and no end to our amazing God.
As you go through your day today, think about the eternal presence of our great God. Whatever you do, do it as an act of worship to Him, so that “day after day and night after night” you praise Him for who He is!
Make today a day of worship. How? Here are some examples: Before a meeting, pray to God and thank Him for the opportunity you have. Before you pick up your kids from school, thank God for the gift that they are. Before an important phone call, pray for God to use your words to make a difference.
Heavenly Father, thank you for your supernatural love for us. Help me look for moments throughout my day to be thankful and use my words to make a difference.
