Romans 10:9-10,
"If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
Think
Let's get to the heart of the matter. It's not enough to just say the right things. God's salvation is more than just a mouth issue – it's a heart issue. For us to experience the best that God has to offer, there has to be a belief that penetrates all the way to our heart. We have to believe that God loved us enough to send His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and that after three days, Jesus rose from the grave. You can't just say it, you have to believe it. Do you struggle with believing? If so, you aren't alone. So get ready to be encouraged! Jesus said that belief the size of a tiny mustard seed is able to accomplish incredible things (Matthew 17:20). If you can muster up even the tiniest of belief, God can meet you in that moment and give you the gift of salvation! If you have made the decision to trust Christ with your heart, are you living that trust out every day and in every way? Are you showing others in your actions what you have believed in your heart and said with your mouth?
Act
True belief in your heart is connected to outward signs of that belief. If you chose to believe in Jesus for the first time today, it's time to let someone know. My Father in Heaven, thank You that You love me enough to send Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. Thank You that Jesus rose from the grave and that because of that I can be saved. I believe.
