Read

John 1:1-5, "In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." Matthew 28:18, "Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.'"

Think

Imagine you are a lawyer trying the biggest case of your career. To win, you need some serious evidence and strong testimony because witnesses can often make or break a case. The Facts: After 400 years of silence, God sent His son to live perfectly, teach repentance and righteousness, die sacrificially, and rise bodily for the forgiveness of our sins. So, to build the case for Christ, the four gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John – are essentially four eyewitness accounts of these facts. Their individual testimonies provide a clear narrative of Jesus' life and present overwhelming evidence of His divine nature. Strategically placed at the beginning of the New Testament, they remind us of the primacy of Jesus in the overall story of Scripture. From cover to cover, the Bible presents one clear message: Jesus saves! He is the truth, the way, and the life, the King of Kings who reigns supreme and holds the keys to the Kingdom of God. So, as you continue to grow in your walk with Christ, allow Him to be the primary source that directs your course. Because you, too, can provide eyewitness testimony to the life-change, grace, forgiveness, and ultimate freedom that's only found in Christ!
