Read

1 Samuel 16:7, "The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."

Think

As we look ahead to the New Year, so many of us are focused on changing something about ourselves. We want to shift some aspect of our lives. In fact, half of the top ten most popular New Year's resolutions have to do with how we perceive ourselves or how others perceive us. They are all about our image. While New Year's resolutions are good, something we need to focus more on is our relationship and connection with God. To get the most out of every aspect of our lives, we must first connect with the Author of life. So as you look to kick off 2018, make your relationship with God a priority; and discover the power of true, lasting, meaningful change not just for the New Year, but for the new you!

Act

To understand God's desire for your life, you've got to make reading the Bible a priority every day. Whether it is with a physical Bible, an online version, or through the Fellowship Church APP, commit to reading Scripture every day in the coming year.

Pray

Thank You, God, for what You have in store this coming year. Right now I pray for opportunities, direction, and purpose. And I ask You for the discipline and drive I need to make my relationship with You a priority in 2018. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
