2 Corinthians 2:11,
"I don't want Satan to outwit us. After all, we are not ignorant about Satan's scheming."
Think
Outwit, Outplay, Outlast! There is always someone trying to knock us off our feet. This "someone" is the Evil One. On the TV show, Survivor, contestants must outwit, outlast and outplay others to win the game. Similarly, Satan does everything in his power to outwit, outplay, and outlast you in the game of life. Unlike our all-powerful God, Satan isn't omnipresent. Therefore, he's always trying to stay on top of his game by knowing your weaknesses. He loves to lure you with what's alluring to you. And, Satan is committed to using his full arsenal to keep you chained to temptation. You can prevent Satan from outwitting you by being prepared for battle every day. Keep your eyes open for the enemy's traps, ask for God's help and obey his commands. With God on your side, the Evil One doesn't stand a chance! So, the next time you're lured by temptation, remember, Satan trembles in terror at the thought of God's almighty power!
Act
Take a moment to consider some areas in your life where you know Satan is trying to outwit you. After reflecting on that, listen to the song "Tremble" by Mosaic and set your mind on Jesus' power to overcome all of Satan's schemes.
Pray
Dear God, help me be on my game against all of Satan's schemes. Please help me remember your truth and not fall for his lies. I praise you for your power in my life! In Jesus' name, Amen.
