Live Like a King

Read

Ecclesiastes 2:26, "To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and happiness, but to the sinner, he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth  to hand it over to the one who pleases God." Galatians 5:22, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."

Think

The dictionary defines wealth as "an abundance of valuable possessions or money." Are you wealthy? You may be thinking, "Far from it!" But true wealth isn't about bank accounts or lavish lifestyles. It's about God. When we have a personal relationship with Jesus and walk in His path, we are spiritually wealthy. In Him, we gain what money can't buy - a surplus of Christ's character and eternal riches that can't be lost or destroyed due to external factors. Are you spiritually broke or bankrupt? You don't have to be! In God's economy, anything is possible. He wants YOU to live like a king - the King of Kings - Jesus. He's offering you an abundance of wealth right now, all you have to do is put your faith in Jesus and seek to do life His way!

Act

Let's check our Spiritual Wealth Bank statement. Use the verse above in Galatians as a guide. This is a list of what God wants to produce in us. Make some goals of ways you could grow in these character qualities.

Pray

God, thank You for teaching me that the most important kind of "wealth" is spiritual wealth. Thank You for Your Spirit that gives me more than I could ever need. Help me tap into Your spirit and unlock Your influence in my life like never before. Amen.
