Read
Hebrews 10:24-25, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another..."
Think
Think about sitting around a table for a meal. Besides eating, what else happens? Conversation! No matter where we are in life, we all have something to bring to the table. Why? Because we all have something to add to the conversation. As we gather together, we have the opportunity to learn from one another, encourage one another, and share with one another about who we are, where we're coming from, and where we're going. As we've been discussing throughout this series, life revolves around the table. And everyone is welcome! Don't sit alone in another room; gather around the table because life is better together. That is why we encourage everyone to join in on the conversation. It's one of the most crucial elements of what we do, because many are just one invitation away, one conversation away from hope, forgiveness, and life transformation. Jesus has called us to shine His light and show our goodwill toward all mankind. So let's be intentional about striking up conversations. And think about what you are bringing to the table.
Act
Right now is the perfect time to start up a conversation with those you know to experience the Bread of Life. Be intentional this week to start those conversations with your family, friends, and neighbors. And invite them to experience Christmas with you at the table!
Pray
Heavenly Father, thank You for drawing me to table and saving my life. Use me to be a conversation starter and a hospitable host as I invite others to join me at the table. In Christ's name I pray, Amen.
