Malachi 3:10, "'Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test me in this,' says the Lord, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.'"

Think

While there are a lot of things God expects that can be difficult to master, the biblical mandate to tithe is not one of them. It's clear and simple. When you bring the first 10% of your income back to God through the local church, you have mastered the tithe. It's something to celebrate! Every time you tithe you have mastered that aspect of obedience. But wait, it gets even better! When you master the tithe, you unlock the blessings of God in your life. He may choose to bless in intangible ways like better relationships or sustained peace and joy. Or, He may flood your life with tangible blessings like pay raises or promotions. To be blessed is to be on the receiving end of both the intangible and tangible blessings of God. We don't give to get the blessings. But when we give generously and obediently, God gives to us so that we can turn around and give again. God knows what will bless you the most, so begin to master the tithe and unlock those blessings in your life!
