Read

1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."

Think

"The radically rescued, rescue radically." True fans love to talk to others about their favorite team and players! They relive the highlights with passion and conviction, cheering every great play. They are promotional and relational about their team. As a human being you are designed by God to be a true fan, but he meant for your greatest devotion to be given to him. And, if you have yielded your life to Christ, you are now part of the ultimate team – the church. This is a team designed to encourage and challenge you to elevate and go places you never dreamed possible on your own. Christ-followers should be relational and promotional; always connecting with others to promote what matters most, Jesus Christ, and his church. This is what Paul meant when he wrote to the Corinthian church that he wanted to pass on to others what was most important to him - the victory to be found in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Paul had experienced firsthand the life transforming power of Christ and was supported, shaped, and setup for success by the very first church. He had been radically rescued and he was passionate to rescue radically. How about you?

Act

Take a moment and make list of the changes you have seen in yourself and your life choices over the last 12 months and celebrate with a trusted Christ follower. When we regularly take time to realize what Jesus has and is doing in our life we will be even more motivated and excited to share that with others.

Pray

Lord, thank you for the victories that you have given me. There is no doubt I could not have done it on my own. Give me the courage and clarity to share what you have done personally in my life and how you have used the church to encourage me and challenge me to become who I am today. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!
