Read

Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will."

Think

We love spiritual mountaintop moments, don't we? Those moments when we feel emboldened by the thought, "I can do all things through Christ!" However, as magnificent as mountaintop moments are, they are also fleeting. They last for a moment, but then there's the mundane, day-to-day life we go back to. That's why God wants to do the majority of the extraordinary on the plains of our ordinary! Yet many Christ-followers approach life with an upside-down perspective. Many people think they have a handle on their daily routine, and only seek God's will when making major life-altering decisions, which is never a good time for trial and error. It's far better (and much less consequential) to renew our minds and align with God's plan within our humdrum daily lives, not just the mountaintop moments. Because it is there that we learn to decipher God's voice and grow to know His thoughts and desires. There's a mystique in the mundane that can be easily overlooked. God speaks into our lives in countless ways. It could be through a conversation with a friend, a brief interaction with a total stranger, watching the sunset, or randomly coming across a Scripture that seems to jump off the page. Don't miss out on all the amazing opportunities to gain insight into the mind of God and His good, pleasing and perfect will for your life!

Act

In John 10:27, Jesus said, "My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me." Are you creating space each day for God to grab your attention? Keep this in mind today, and be attentive to what God has to say.

Pray

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your constant desire to speak into my life every day. Today, I am eager for You to speak into my life, as I seek to hear Your voice and grow to know Your thoughts and desires. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
