Think

"A faith that has never been tested is a faith that cannot be trusted." Everyone has faith in something. Faith to sit in a chair, that it will support you. Faith to drive in a car, that it will safely get you to where you need to go. Faith to shop online, that your stuff will actually arrive as you expected it.   It's easy to put our faith in those things because they have a proven track record. But is God really any different? Countless people from biblical times to today can share story after story of how God is trustworthy, reliable, and even capable of the impossible!   When we find ourselves riding the waves of unpredictable circumstances in our uncontrollable lives, he is our anchor. We can live with hope and confidence because we know that he is in control and will not fail or abandon us. However, in order to build a proven track record with God, it starts by trusting him with something today and having faith in him.  

Act

Think back to a situation where you trusted God as your faith was tested. If he came through then, have the faith that he'll come through again. Trust in him and remember the greater your faith, the more he can do in and through your life!

Pray

Dear God, remind me of ways you have been faithful in the past to deepen my faith today. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight, and to grow in my faith as I read your word. In Jesus' name, Amen.
